Heavy Mental Rock

I'm talking about OTEP and this band certainly distinguish themselves from other metal bands.Fronted by a female vocalist with growling vocals,Otep Shamaya,known for her style of confessional writing.In many of her songs and poems she has alluded to having had a tumultuous and traumatic childhood riddled with abuse, (both physical and emotional).

I just like her music as it is so REAL.The lyrics and way she sings seeps through your soul.You gotta hear to feel it ;)
