been ages since my last update...i tot i squeezed in some time and post an entry....
life has been really hectic and tired ever since sch starts...have to wake up early2 just to get seats in the bus...thx to the massive intake of year ones this year...and i mean really huge...everywhere is crowded...literally everywhere...and i thought last year was worst...
ok that aside, classes are getting more draggy and lengthy...theres just so much information to be addressed that its nearly impossible to end classes before 4 and always have to squeeze in time to go lab for fyp during breaks....well i guess thats life in year 3....HECTIC!!
it has come to my attention that there are many "prettyboys" in the current freshies....i almost mistaken a guy for a girl...due to the fact that he has long hair and was wearing real thick eyeliner....*confused.....cant deny some are cute though :P

was watching my daily dose of miami ink yesterday...when one story really touched me.it was a story of a dad who wanted to get a tatoo of his daughter who suffered from tay-sachs disease..
it is a rare inherited disorder which causes causes progressive destruction of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord (the central nervous system).Children usually do not survive beyond the age of 5.His daughter was only 2 years old but she couldnt do simple things like crawl, sit, swallow food.Basically she is paralysed.Even so,her parents didn't gave up on her knowing that she is going to pass on soon. They took care of her and gave her all the attention. What the father said really touched me.He said that her daughter made them appreciate every second and every minute of everyday as they didn't know when her time would come.
So her father had a potrait of her daughter done on his chest so as to be reminded of her every single day when she has passed on.
The worst thing is knowing that they could have prevented the disease if they had went for genetic testing prior to having the baby. This is to check if the parents were carriers of the gene.
it is interesting how every tattoo tells a story....
