yesterday's lab was
kinda fun...we had to mimic the DNA replication process invitro.I had fun pipetting the stuffs into the tube..i was labelling the tubes using scotch tape and it was kinda difficult with gloves on.Suddenly the scotch tape flew across the lab bench and my faci wendy chia was like....
what was that farhana? haha
after that we had to load up the samples into the gel...and the gel contained ethidium bromide which is a mutagenic and carcinogenic agent meaning that it can cause cancer.Everyone took precautions like wearing double-layered gloves...haha...i had fun pipetting the sample into the wells of the gel.I have officially mastered the art of pipetting...yeyyness..
today is lab again...this time for immunology...kinda boring cos its a friday and there's Ut...
shucks i have officially broken the 4 days streak of not eating rice by having bbq chicken rice today..argH...damn felt so guilty eating....anyways...gotta diet!!
it is freaking cold in class..my whole group is wearing our labcoat to protect ourself from the coldness...don't feel like doing anything today....jus waiting for lab at 1pm...zzzZ

i killed a cockroach this morning...it was damn big n creepy so i freaked out n grabbed baygone n sprayed umpteen times...i watched as it died slowly...but surely..*i'm sorry little cockroach :(
pharmaco lesson plus microbio UT officially squeezed my brain juices dry....and today's RJ question sucks big time..."What is the relationship and difference of pharmacodynamic and toxicodynamic ?"....how the hell would i know!!!
went for the module selection thingy yesterday and here are the core modules i be taking next year :
A343 Drug Discovery & Development
A344 Clinical Trials
A371 Pharmacotherapy & Pharmacy Practice
A372 Pharmaceutical Legislation & Marketing
it would be 4 days each sem next year not including fyp...i'm preparing to be super stress!!ok i'm damn tired and sleepy...Zzzzz

ok this update came really late...been busy with sch wat else...im really tired...jus looking forward to hols now...but before i can even taste the holidays...Ut 3 is coming up *faints...anyways the UT 1 results are out and its mixed emotions for me...here are my results...
pharmacology & toxicology --> B (happy)
microbiology --> C (contented)
molecular & cell bio --> C (contended)
immunology --> D (dissapointed)
sucks rite ? ok nvm theres always other Uts...gotta werk harder and i mean real harder...
anyways friday was kinda fun...got immunology lab session..did the SDS-PAGE and the western blotting...was kinda slack cos we had alot of waiting time for the protein to separate and stuffs...so break time was rather long and second meeting was jus discussion...so class ended quite early and headed home to ZZzzzz....
i finally finish my PP report and submitted it...gonna work on the poster soon...ok i gotta study for microbio Ut.... :

had only 3 hours of sleep last nite...suprisingly i woke up early and arrived at school at 730...haha...mcb was ok considering i didnt come for the last two subsequent lessons...wendy chia didn't come *relieves...the relief faci was nice and i understood the lesson pretty well....
pharmaco ut was errmm sucks ? haha like always....i took some time to figure out the last question and by the time i knew the answer,the message box popped out "time is up"....f%$#
cleaned the house abit cos tmr PS0102 peeps are coming my hse for raya...went to sheng shiong as my mum gonna cook tmr and she ask me to get some stuffs..then bumped into fuad and firdaus....haha my sec sch mates...fuad got a bike now...wahh....he said i looked small...maybe cos we so long never see each other...anyways gd nite peeps

greetings....it's a friday and everyone's out shopping,jalan raya-ing or jus out chilling....TGIF!!Ut sucked big time...as always..haha..went home just before 7 just now..mum asked if i wanted to follow her jalan raya...i passed it cos im so tired and i need to start studying for upcoming UTs!!! Immunology lesson just now was really interesting...it was on immunodeficiency diseases.There are many known immunodeficiency diseases mostly genetically inherited.Our group covered on CGD - Chronic Granulomatous Disease where the body is unable to kill certain pathogens due to a defective enzyme.
* i made this to have a clearer picture..It really opened my eyes to the importance of enzymes in our body and how just one defective enzyme may be fatal.Im begining to like immunology cos its very theoretical and once you've grasp it,you are able to apply it..pharmacology on the other hand is beginning to turn me off with all the graphs and laws....argH!!ok now i need something to destress...my fren khai aka the hantu of power metal gave me more freedom call songs and a couple of other bands....haha thanks soo much!i lurp it!
