fears...
nana gave me this poem some time back....made me cry...so long since i shed a tear
What do you do if you've been hurt so bad by love that you're afraid of ever letting someone else in again...
What do you do if you know someone out there cares about you but you are to scared to let them in
It's hard to get back in the motion of things
And want all the love that great life can bring
When your hearts been broken before and you've waited so long for it to mend
You can't let another guy break it, or lose another friend
You worry too much about what next could be worse
And feel like your love life has been dramatically cursed
As if you will never be able to love anymore
Because you don't want to remember how your heart once tore
To anyone this may seem pure nonsense
But to you it's just a fact
That getting hurt by someone
On your life, makes a big impact
But sometimes you've just gotta face your fears
And try to hide from all of the tears
Don't go back to that guy who made you cry
It might just get better if you will just try
Look for someone who you know cares about you
Someone you care for very much too
Someone that you trust deep down to the dirt
Someone who would never leave you once again hurt
'Cause you never know what life has in store for you
Maybe someday you'll find love that's true
The perfect guy that would never give you tears
The one who could make you face all your fears...
