my final semester results are out and it was expected...basically i'm happy i got a B for my FYP 2 project and happy that i manage to graduate =)
well i'll be starting a new phase of my life next week...i will officially start work as a pharmacy technician...it is my dream job so i'm excited and at the same time nervous...i just hope that everything will go well and to all my friends who are job hunting or applying for further studies...all the best to you guys and hope to keep in touch!

ok so just now was the annual Chingay Parade...me and honey didn't planned to watch it but since we were in the area,we joined the crowd in viewing the colourful display....
what i am most looking forward to was the Formula 1 car driven by an A1 Aussie driver.Here's the video....adrenalin's pumping as the car sped off the road.
After seeing that,it makes me all the more wanting to go for Singapore GP!!*ugh
I wanna see kimi raikkonen race off the singapore tracks...that would be ubber cool!
But the tix are soo expensive....the cheapest is $168 and that's for standing wherever you want...can you imagine paying $168 just to stand..hahas
I'm contemplating as to go or not.....
I'm really a huge fan of F1...i've been following the sport for quite a while and it's really fascinating seeing cars racing off at extreme speeds and how they manage to overtake during the turns...its just the technical aspects of the sport that u pick up as u watch every race...*the cute guys are a bonus...hahas
anyways...back to reality....i finally got a call from NHG saying that i got the job!I got the position of pharmacy technician @ Clementi Polyclinic....I be starting work next week...i'm really happy...thx to my loved ones for their support and keeping me going always...

everybody's sick nowadays...the virus is everywhere....my boyfriend was sick,my brother was sick,my mum was sick and now i'm sick....
so i've been cooped up at home drowning myself in cough syrup and lozenges....thought i'd make myself useful and just brush up my pharmacology notes after being drilled during a job interview.
i realise that i have forgotten quite a bit of information which i had learnt a year ago.I remembered how i use to memorise drug names and have their mechanisms of action at the back of my mind.But now...ohh i'm getting old!
speaking of jobs,im so in need of one and i've come to the realisation that its not easy to actually get one...damn i'm tired of searching *urgh
anyhows...tmr is Valentine's day and i really think its so overrated with the flowers and teddy bears and chocs....don't you think so?

I had an interview today @ tan tock seng hospital for the position of pharmacy technician under NHG pharmacy.
went out early this morning to RP to get my testimonial from my former facilitator Mrs Cecilia...She was nice enough to write me one on such short notice....It happens that the interviewer i'm meeting later happened to be her ex boss and thus having her as reference would boost my chances of getting the job.
I really wanted this job bad!And it showed during the interview when i was so enthu in explaining the mechanisms of drugs and stuff...I am really confident of the overall interview however when they ask me to take a short test about drugs,there were some which i had never even heard of.But all in all,i am confident that i might just get the post.
Ok work aside,I met dearie Ilah after that @ orchard to watch 27 dresses.Really sweet and romantic movie and abit funny too.Afterwhich we had our dinner @ far east and proceeded to walk around town and settled for ice cream and chatted till late!Thx for the movie date dearie!
I'm missing someone really bad right now...you noe who you are...tomorrow ok ok ok ?? =(

02 Feb 2008 - LOLS(Love Our Local Scene) Gig
Met iLah at Bugis and we were scrambling to find the venue for the gig...turns out it was in the midst of bugis street only @ level 2...5 bands played that evening and the first band is Helmi's band,Suspected for Devotion(SFD)....i must say that they have improved in all aspects from their first gig @ full flight...in terms of quality of perfomance,vocals and nervousness..hahas..
at least love manage to say more words than just..."uh..ok...thank you" =)
their last song "sweet so long and sweet goodbye" got me singing to the lyrics and the crowd headbanging....its love's masterpiece as he wrote that song so its nice to see gd response form the audience.
and thx to our photowoman for these wonderful photos....excellent photography i must say ;)

Looking back I realise the mistakes I made... You were always there and always trying but all i did was avoided and ignored I was always running away from problems and i realise that doing so wouldn't solve anything
